The Horrors of Genetically Engineered Creatures

Earlier this morning a group of terrorists broke into a Military Science Corps Base (MSC) insearch of a Bio-weapon to use as a tool to force the world's nations to pay a ransom or face a major epidemic. The terrorist entered the wrong wing of the facility and detonated a wall breaching explosive device into the genetic manipulation section. All members of the terror group where killed by two creatures in the facility. A statement by a member of the security forces that guard the facility was as follows. "There is nothing to fear. These creatures will be handled by our animal control unit in cooperation with the local police force. Everything is under control. Just stay indoors until further instructions are given."

One week has passed and everyone has started to either forget about the incident or believe the statement two days ago stating that the creatures had died in the forest. Now you sit in your car on a latenight drive through the woods when your car breaks down. You check your cellphone to see if you can call a tow truck, you have no signal. You decide to just wait until morning to walk back to the petrol station 10 miles back. As you are nearly asleep when you hear a sound, when you look up you see a deer. The deer stares blankly at you before it hops across the road. When you wake up the next morning there is a heavy fog, but you find it pleasant. As you start walking to the petrol station you are horrified to find the deer you saw last night, the deer mangled almost to the piont you could barely recognise it as a deer. As you look in horror you hear a sound that seems like a mix of a woodpecker digging at a tree and a deep growl. You start to run toward the station. When you arrive you are extremely paranoid. Call a tow truck and he drives you back to your car. As you pass where the deer is you see nothing there but a large area of dirt stained crimson. The driver sees the stain and says, "Someone must have shot a deer." You finally arrive at your car and the driver starts to hook your car you to the truck. Your hear a crash and a scream of pain. You look in the rear view mirror and see a large grey beast ripping apart the truck driver. It looks at you and you quickly lock the doors to the truck. In a single leap it is on the hood of the truck, it turns around and faces you, you see it has no eyes. It sticks it hand through the windshield, you move away from it's reach,it pulls it's hand out of the windshield and moves to the door nearest you. You are paralyzed with fear as it rips the door off of the truck. You jump for the other door only for it to grapple your leg. You close your eyes and realise that this is the end...
